This is all new, so I don't have a lot to talk about here just yet. Stay tuned, and I'll keep you posted on the important events in my authorial life.

New Work

I haven't kept up with this, but I've finished my 77,000 science fiction novel. I'm going through it for the sixth time, smoothing out the rough edges, checking for consistency and, probably, cutting a few bad parts. I like it. I like the main character, and I will get it out there fairly soon, but first it has to be as good as it can be.

The Year in Review

I managed to publish a couple pieces this year. Most notably, my short story "Fishing" was a runner up in the Fresher Prize for fiction out of Bournemouth, England. I didn't win, but the story was included in the Fresher Anthology. That's what we in the writer business call "A good pub".
